A very cheap alternative to U Mount for unmounted stamps

Instead of paying a small fortune for U Mount, or something like it to back your unmounted stamps with, instead I buy a large roll of double sided craft foam.
It can easily be cut to the most fiddly of shapes and one roll will last for ages!
A really good place for these is your local Pound Shop!

This idea seems wonderful. I'm in the US and we don't have a Pound Shop. Just exactly what is it you use? Sometimes the strangest things can even be found at one of our home improvement stores.
Hurry, hurry, LOL. I have a large number of lovely flower stamps to mount.

This is an excellent idea. I realised this worked about two weeks ago, I was scratching about in my drawer for some more u-mount and found I had run out. But I had some double sided foam tape I use for 3d affects and raising card up. It works beautifully.
