Spellbinders Alphabet Christmas Card is something a little different for you to make this year to send to family and firends.
Having an Alphabet can help you to make some really pretty cards and the word can be any that you wish to add.
They help you to personalise any of your creations and just think how pleased the recipient would be to see some thing especially for them
Children really love to see their name on something whether it's a card or another project that you have made for them.
The die set I am using is from Spellbinders and it is called Donnas Alphas
But I am happy to say that I have now brought out my own collections of Alphabets and Numbers available at
It produces letters that are in plain script and clearly spell out the word for you with no fancy curlicue's on it.
The video will take you step by step on how to make this Alphabet Christmas Card for yourself and I hope you will experiment and have some fun using different colours and letters
You will be able to make two cards from cutting the words out just once as you are going to use the negative space in the card for one and the positive letters for another.
Keep the letters that you cut out and also cut the same word again from some double sided adhesive foam to give them some height and you will have a really lovely card to send out.
Change the word and the stamped background and this would be suitable for any occasion
For this card I have used the Font One from Spellbinders and although it is a smaller die set the words are still prominent
The card on the left has been made into a Shaker Card and I have used some tiny silver stars for the shaker element
This is such a fun way to work with the alphabets that you may already have in your own crafting "Stash" and maybe you are looking for something a little different to do with them
Getting the most from any die set that you own has to be a bonus ... because we know they don't come cheap and they need to work for you in lots of other ways.
I will be adding other videos using this particular alphabet die set and so I hope you will join me again to see what else is on offer for you to try... and not just for Christmas either
