Clean and Simple Cards can be just as pretty as those that are highly decorated
They are so easy to make as the dies do all the work for you but they are fun to create with less embellishments applied
They can be for any occasion you wish and by just varying the colors it will change the look for you as well.
I love adding the "Bling" to my cards but sometimes there comes a request to make a card that is devoid of all that stuff.
So here is an idea for a birthday card just using the Spellbinders that I have in my collection
This pretty card in a lovely shade of pale blue is created with a selection of Spellbinders die templates.
You will find many choices on their website so take your time and browse around for some ideas of the ones you would like to use
For my card I have used the 5x7 Modern Stationery and 5x7 Matting Basics A & B for the base
You will find more info and links to the dies and supplies I use for my cards on my Blog ...
each day when a new one is added for you to view
Click the link to pay a visit and you will find more hints and tips on cardmaking
Let the video tutorial show you how to get the look for this card and then play and see what you come up with.
The flowers to this design are from the Pretty Petals sets also from Spellbinders and they make the easiest of blooms to add to your creations
They can be gilded, glittered or even have Glossy Accents applied to them for a change
Maybe you are like me and enjoy adding in the ribbons, lace, pearls or diamante, charms, hatpins and feathers to your designs ... but maybe you have a special order or even some sympathy cards to make and all the extras just wouldn't be appropriate.
Then is the time to modify your designs and leave all the fancy stuff for another day.
These card ideas are here to help you whenever you get stuck and you can alter them any way you wish to suit your own style
Just have fun and enjoy the process with out or without the use of dies
But if you have them then put them to good use and make some Clean and Simple Cards (CAS)
