Create a Side Step Card

Create a Side Step Card is a short video that will  take you through all the stages you need to get this look for yourself. 

It is not long but it will show you how to add another card fold to your ever growing repertoire and will stop you getting bored with the same old thing

And you are sure to be proud of what you have achieved ... especially when some one admires your design and asks
"Did you make this ??"

I am working in inches for this card and as each panel for matting and layering is measured individually on the card,  then sizes are not mentioned for those

It is easy enough to do with out getting hung up on figures all you need to do is mark it out on the card that you wish to mat and layer with

The beautiful image that  I have used is called Joanie and she is from the very talented   Mos Digital Pencil

There are some amazing images for you to choose from on their website and you will surely be spoilt for choice

I  have coloured her with Spectrum Noir  Alcohol Markers and the result looks almost printed

It  really is a simple enough card to make but if you are new to cardmaking then I would  strongly advise you to make yourself a Template  first until you feel confident enough to start on your good stuff

Keep the template in a safe place so that you can always refer back to it if you haven't made the card for some time and it is always a good idea for any project that you are trying for the first time
