Create these little Elf Shoes with Spellbinders and you can use them for any occasion that you like.
Sometimes you may just need a quick, spur of the minute card and all you have are bits and pieces lying in your crafting stash
Don't Panic!!
This little card could be the solution and all they take are a few pieces of left over card and paper that is probably lying on your work top right now.
They are so easy to make, and a very cute, novelty addition to your cards that are sure to bring a smile to your recipients face.
The Spellbinders that I have used are Labels Eight ... and from the largest die you can create two pairs of shoes.
I have also used two circle dies that will give me a cut of 5cms to shape the shoe and 2.5cms where the ankle would fit inside the shoe.
But if you prefer you can use punches or bought circles if you don't have the dies.
And although I have made mine for Christmas they are cute enough to add to a card for any occasion, and especially good for male cards
There are many more ideas for you to try in Novelty Cards section and they are mostly made from basic circles and oval shapes that are easy to put together for a variety of creatures.
And many of them are fun ideas that your children will enjoy making ... especially on a wet afternoon.
The short video will take you step by step through how to make these for your self, and then you can add any embellishments that you have in your "Stash"
You can also make the legs as bowed as you like too.
So grab a cuppa and relax for a short time as you watch the video. Then get busy and have some fun making these for your self
It is such a simple idea but just another way to get you to think outside the box.
Spellbinders, or any other dies, are a considered purchase and so you need to get as much use as you can from them, and make any dies that you have already in your crafting stash work for you.
Just get the old brain box working and see what you can come up with.
