Paper bows are very easy to make and there are lots of different ways to make them. But lets start with the basics.
When your card is nearing completion you may think that there is something missing, and that it needs just a small addition to make it look better for you.
There are lots of ways to make them and this is just one simple idea for you to try, but it can make all the difference to the finished look.
For this project I have used stripey paper but of course you can use any that you have to hand. It is a good way to use up some of those scraps of paper too ... the ones you can't bear to throw away!
And don't forget you can get this same shaped effect by using any left over ribbons that you have in your "Stash"
Don't be afraid to experiment as you may be pleasantly surprised at the effects you can create.
There will be lots more ideas covered as I go along but if you have a favourite way that you use to make other bows, then please feel free to post them on the website and let others into your secret.
The bows can be added to the card in any direction you wish, and you can add many things to them for added decoration.
Add brads or buttons to your male cards and flowers to the centres for all your girly ones, then sprinkle them with glitter for a luxury look.
