I've been making cards for about 6 months now and thanks to the videos on here I have made my first two Mat and layering cards.
This is the first time I have planned cards around a colour scheme, and I really enjoyed matching everything.
I'm not sure about the size but these are quite small under A6 size. They are both normal fold I think that is called tent fold... could be wrong.
All embellishments are from £shop ( love the little red boots) and papers are from £shop and online freebies.
These haven't been given out yet, but I do know who will be receiving them.
On my wish list is a proper scoring board and bone folder tool to play around with card folds, as me and measurements really don't go together.
and I'd love to try stamping too
thanks for looking

These are cards are lovely and for your first attempt at matting and layering ... then well done you.
Matting and layering is such a simple way to enhance your cards and can make a great deal of difference to your images.
It makes them stand out from the rest and if you match the matted colours to one from your image the effect can be very subtle.
If you are new to this concept then you can find a Video Tutorial on how to get the look in the NavBar to your left.
Then you too can make cards as pretty as Mandy
